Community Liaison Officer

Permanent Full Time Position

Level 3 Salary, $54,902.38 - $64,840.81 + District Allowance

This position reports to the CEO and is responsible for a range of key responsibilities including the development of a Community Strategic Plan, the promotion and coordination of Council events and the use of Council's sporting and other facilities.

 

The successful applicant will have experience and skills in the following:

  • Ability to organize medium/large community events
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve, excellent time management skills, accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience in establishing networks and linkages with community, private sector and government groups.

Administration Support Officer

Permanent Full Time Position

Level 2 Salary, $49,208.42 - $59,146.84 + District Allowance

This position reports to the Administration Manager and is responsible for the provision of high quality and reliable support in relation to Human Resource, IT, Governance and general Administrative Support.

In addition to the pay scale for the above positions, Council offers the following:

  • 6 Weeks Annual Leave
  • Up to 13% Superannuation
  • Training Opportunities

  • Above average keyboard skills and high proficiency with Microsoft products
  • The ability to problem solve, good time
    management skills, accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines

Casual Visitor Information Centre Assistant x 2

Level 1 Salary, $38,719.23 - $47,328.15 + District Allowance & 25% Loading

Council requires 2 x Casual Visitor Information Assistants to provide friendly, efficient and accurate information to visitors on all attractions, accommodation and touring options available within Katherine and its regions. 

The position involves regular weekend work.
