ART EXHIBITION & PRESENTATION

Katherine Prize

The Katherine prize is the oldest art & craft award in the NT,  awarding over $7,000 in prizes. Official opening of the 2011 Katherine Festival. A beautiful evening of art, food & entertainment under the stars. General viewing of exhibition Monday 15TH - Friday 19th August in the Civic Centre Gallery, 8am - 3:30pm daily.

The Main Event is the grand finale of the Katherine Festival. This year we have an increadible lineup of performers, Melbourne hip hop legend Illy. Araia award winning DJ/Producer M-Phazes, local Darwin band Skarlett, extreme sports crew JC Epidemic as well as market stalls, show-n-shine car show and childrens activities. THIS IS A ALCOHOL AND DRUG FREE EVENT.
