In the 2008/09 Municipal Plan, Katherine Town Council introduced a Community Grants Scheme. Council has continued with the scheme with grant funding available as follows:

• $20,000 for community groups up to a maximum of $2,000 per grant
• $10,000 for major events up to a maximum of $5,000 per grant

Katherine Town Council received - nominations in the two categories.

GRANTS FOR MAJOR EVENTS UP TO $5,000

The application process requires the submission of a grant using the Application Form, Guidelines and for succesfull applicants the Acquittal. Grants must be submitted by the closing date to be considered as late applications will not be accepted. Grants will be available for events/projects starting from the 1st October 2013.
